Limited Edition 1941 Wrangler Has a Hefty Price Tag
This UK-only special edition Wrangler is built to celebrate 80 years of Jeep by going off-roading.
80'th Anniversary
In celebration of the 80th anniversary of the world's most iconic brand of off-road vehicles, Jeep has been introducing special editions of a number of its models. These limited runs of the Wrangler, Compass, Renegade, Cherokee, Grand Cherokee, and Gladiator all feature 80th Anniversary badging, interior and exterior decorations, among other unique touches for each model.
Wrangler 1941
Extending the 80th Anniversary celebrations, Jeep is also offering a Wrangler 1941 edition. The left-hand-drive special edition Wrangler features a number of commemorative elements that help make it stand out. This particular model is intended only for the UK market, so we won't be seeing it Stateside, sadly.

Based on the Rubicon
Taking the 4-door Wrangler Rubicon as a starting point, the 1941 edition receives enhancements such as a two-inch lift kit, extended wheels arches, and more rugged underbody protection, all to improve the Jeep's off-roading capability. It's very appropriate that the 80th anniversary Jeep highlights what Wranglers are built to do, and that's creating their own roads.

Cosmetic Upgrades
On the cosmetic side, the Wrangler 1941 is given a hard-to-miss 1941 hood decal. It also features a black fuel cap, door sill guards, and splash guards at all four corners. The Jeep also comes with a hardtop as well as all-weather floor liners standard.

Diesel Power
The 1941, like the UK market Rubicon that it is based on, features the 2.2-liter 4-cylinder diesel motor that produces 197 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The commemorative Wrangler is available in Brilliant Black, Granite Crystal, Firecracker Red, or Billet Silver.

Hefty Price Tag
Starting MSRP for the Jeep is set at £58,050, which is equal to around $80,000 American with recent exchange rates. This is a significantly higher price than any Wrangler model in the States. But keep in mind, Jeep's UK prices are considerably higher with the Rubicon starting at £51,350, which is about $70,000.
