JL Wrangler JPP 20 Comes Loaded with Mopar Parts

Jeep is well aware of the fact that the vast majority of its owners will perform at least a handful of mods to their rides over the course of their ownership. So why let aftermarket companies reap all the benefits (and profits) of that? Mopar makes and sells all sorts of Jeep parts and accessories these days, and they're keen to show them off with cool concepts like this 2020 Wrangler they've dubbed the "JPP 20." But this one isn't just a concept.

Turnkey Solution

While most of us enjoy wrenching on our Jeeps and installing our own parts and accessories, others may not have the skills or the desire to do so. For them, the JPP 20 is the perfect solution. Jeep will be selling a limited number of these new Wranglers as turnkey, ready-to-roll factory builds. And we can imagine that there'll be a long line of folks waiting to buy one.

Base Build

The JPP 20 starts out as a Wrangler Unlimited Sport S painted either Ocean Blue or White. Buyers have their choice of three different engines - the turbo four-cylinder, V6, or EcoDiesel. An automatic transmission is standard, as are the technology, safety, towing, and heavy-duty electrical packages.

Host of Mods

From there, the future JPP 20 Wranglers are fitted with a host of goodies by factory-trained technicians in the Mopar Custom Shop. They start up front with a steel bumper and skid plate, a waterproof JPP Rubicon winch with 100 feet of Warn Spydura synthetic rope, a mesh bikini top, steel tube replacement doors, mirror-relocation kit, heavy-duty rock rails, a swing-door reinforcement kit, and a center high-mount stoplight.

Moving Inside

Finishing off this attractive package is an American flag hood graphic, front fender vent blackout decals, JPP graphics on the rear quarter panels, laser-etched forged JPP badges on the fender and swing gate, and a blacked-out fuel door. The interior has been jazzed up with Katzkin Tuscany leather seats with JPP logos, Mopar all-weather floor mats, and a Mopar cargo tray kit. The JPP 20 also comes with an owner's kit, which includes a personalized booklet and other memorabilia.

Additional Options

Perhaps the coolest thing about the JPP 20, however, is the fact that the purchase price includes a $4,275 customer credit that can be applied toward the installation of a JPP two-inch lift kit, JPP five-inch or seven-inch off-road LED light kits, and/or a choice of five different JPP off-road wheel and tire options. Buyers work with their own dealership to make these choices.

Filling a Niche

Obviously, the JPP 20 is a great idea that will undoubtedly fill a niche in the market. After all, there are plenty of folks out there that already pay shops to install parts like these. This way, they can now buy a brand new, customized Jeep with authentic Mopar parts, installed by Mopar. And to us, that sounds like something that just makes too much sense not to do.
