Italian Tuner Makes Renegade into a Hero
Just like the '90s TV show starring Lorenzo Llamas, this Renegade has become a misunderstood Hero.

Italian tuner Militem has taken Jeep's smallest off-roader and given it a new body kit, suspension, interior changes, and performance upgrade. Touted as the Militem Hero, the small SUV now has a muscular design with a higher ride height, a larger grille, and more aggressive bumpers.

A more capable Renegade
The ride height on the Hero is higher than the stock Renegade by over 5 inches with Bilstein shock absorbers. The Hero is aided by new huge 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped with 265-50 R20 Cooper Discover AT3 all-terrain tires to help conquer obstructions in a much more efficient manner.

Once inside you'll be greeted by leather and Alcantara seats, cowhide on the dash, a Militem steering wheel wrap, and special floor mats. According to Militem, almost all of the plastics have been stripped or hidden but you can spot them if you look closely enough. However, each Hero will have a custom flair to it that will be specified by each customer as to what color palette, leather type or whatever else features they'd like.

A little power or no power
Under the hood is a some added performance from an ECU tune which Militem remarks will add 20 horsepower to the Hero no matter if it is the 4x4 Limited or the Trailhawk model. How3ever, if you so choose you can tell Militem you're okay with the stock numbers and they won't touch the powerplant.
