ARB Creates Overlanding Package for Wrangler JL

For 2018 models and onwards ARB has developed three different packages for the Wrangler JLs. Those three levels of customization dubbed Overland, Crawler, and Wheeler were made for individuals who like to go off offroad a little bit, a good deal and a LOT. 

All the goodies

For those who aren't in the know, ARB is, the Australian company has been modifying offroad vehicles since 1975. If you have ever seen pictures of the Outback then you are well aware of what the company would have to deal with going offroad. ARB is actually Australia's biggest manufacturer and distributor for 4x4 accessories with sales even reaching the US.

It looks purty

The Overlanding Package, selling for $3,536, will net you an Old Man Emu heavy-duty suspension kit to get you started. The parts you'll get will not only cover the shock absorbers but also the bits and pieces in between the bushings, center bolts, u-bolts, and spring liners.

Looking tough

But things don't stop there as you can have ARB fit your Wrangler with front and rear bumpers, side protectors a differential cover and even a winch bumper. If you want to toss out another $600 then you can get yourself a proper snorkel for those moments when you to traverse the waters.

Is it worth it?

When it's all said and done you're probably looking at about 10 grand of cash for aftermarket equipment to stack on top of the 30 grand you just spent if you bought a new model, While 40 grand may be a lot to wrap your mind around, you'll have a JL that's ready to immediately be taken offroad in difficult conditions with confidence.
