Lower Pricing with Enhanced Features

Jeep's MY2024 Gladiator lineup kicks off with the entry-level Sport, priced at $37,895, $1,095 cheaper than the previous year's model. Despite the lower cost, it comes packed with features such as a 12.3-inch Uconnect touchscreen, an eight-speaker audio system, and safety enhancements including side curtain airbags. The Sport S, priced at $41,395, offers additional safety assists and convenience features like adaptive cruise control and automatic headlights.

Specialized Trims for Various Preferences

For off-road enthusiasts, the Willys trim at $44,995 includes enhancements like rock rails, a rear-locking differential, and 32-inch mud-terrain tires. The Mojave and Rubicon trims, priced at $52,995, offer advanced off-road capabilities with features like Fox shocks and larger tires. New Mojave X and Rubicon X trims, priced at $62,995, introduce even more luxury with Nappa leather seats and advanced safety features like blind-spot monitoring.

Discontinuations and Powertrain Changes

Jeep has discontinued the Freedom and High Altitude trims for MY2024 and phased out the diesel engine option. Now, the only available powertrain is the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, offering 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. While a hybrid Gladiator 4xe is expected, it won't be available immediately.

Future Upgrades and Configurations

Looking ahead, the Wrangler 4xe is set to receive upgrades in 2025, and a Gladiator 4xe is expected to join the lineup. Furthermore, the J70 Wrangler is slated to replace the JL Wrangler by 2028, featuring battery-electric and range-extended electric powertrains.

Enhanced Off-Roading Capabilities

The 2024 Gladiator offers various off-road enhancements, including upfit packages from American Expedition Vehicles. These packages, such as the Level II, available exclusively for Rubicon and Rubicon X trims, feature upgrades like 37-inch BFG tires and a winch for increased off-road capability.

Availability and Paint Options

Production of the MY2024 Gladiator has already begun, with dealerships now offering the pickup. Customers can choose from nine paint colors, and all grades come with the Uconnect 5 system, allowing for over-the-air software updates and Wi-Fi hotspot capability.
