Wow. That looks great with its new set of shoes. I think you should go with mopar steel half doors in the rear. It would look great when topless like it is.

I was just thinking the same thing. Looks like there is not a way to get it out without busting out the angle grinder

Here are some more pictures with the rear doors in place & factory flares hung. The other pics show how a tube now connects the front & rear control arm frame mounts for the start of a smooth belly/ skid. These points are only 1-1/2" lower than the original transmission crossmember so very little loss of clearance. I understand completely the reason for the concern about the track bar, lots of thought was given to that while building. The tube however is 1.75" x .250 wall DOM. If it were a control arm, it would be out of the questions, but in a track bar application I'm not concerned at all with failure. There are many OE applications were a bent track bar is used including Jeep. Some of the aftermarket Dodge Ram track bars are also made from bent tubing in order to clear the diff housing. For strength we'll be keeping 4 links in place. The drop of the portal gearbox creates a lot more torque load on the axle housing & I'd prefer that be spread to 2 upper links instead of a single.
