Got some work done on the steering. Pitman arm mocked up ready to be boxed, Hydro assist mounted, Track bar brackets installed. We've been waiting on the laser cutting comapny to turn out the brackets.

Looking great!

This will be one time consuming project, since they are putting a tall inline six diesel into a fat and short JK engine bay. This is precisely the reason there are no 4.0 I6 swaps on the market right now. Let's have as much patience as we can and see the monster MBRP makes!

Here is the track bar installed and what it looks like off the jeep. Today axles are coming out for full welding & it should set on it's own weight tonight or tomorrow.

Holy crap the configuration on that trackbar is crazy! I'm sure you you guys did your math but the only concern I see is you have loaded that weld at the end of the u bend in shear...

So here it is, the moment I know most have been waiting for including ourselves. We took the time to roll it outside yesterday and let the sun warm the paint a little. As you can tell we still have a long way to go on this rig to get it ready for Sema so the push will be on. after seeing it outside we're trying to decide what we are going to do for fenders. Obviously tube fenders are in order but possibly 2 sets, 1 to cover the tires for street driving the second set narrower (possibly 6 inches over stock) for wheeling. Stay posted now if you haven't been already because it should be driving in a short while. We are waiting on a custom manifold to help with cleareance on the second turbo and some small parts to get it running. Shouldn't be long now.
