The 3 piece manifold will also help minimize any heat deflection or issues that surround the factory manifolds on the cummins engines...

The power tank will be mounted to the rear section of the new cage once it's complete. Here's a few pictures:

How do you plan on hooking up both turbos?? I only see one mounting spot on the manifold for a turbo... This is an AWESOME build guys, and I cant wait to see the finished product...

More updates today! The roll cage is being built for a few reasons...Both safety and to build rigidity in the frame. The roll cage is both frame, and body mounted using bushings and mounting plates. This allows us to completely remove the body, with the cage still in tack, yet it ties everything together when the body is mated to the frame. The cage is all hidden inside the custom hard top, and the freedom panels will still be completely functional and removable.

Here are a few shots of the early stages:

These pics show the extension tubes that extend forward through the cowl into the engine bay. They have slugs welded in them for attaching the engine bay structure to them and they are welded to the front side of the A-pillar vertical bars.

The crossbar for behind the dash is done and the 3rd upper cross bar is in place. Tomorrow the dash will be modified to fit back in.

Twins are in place. Not set completely, but in place. A little different mounting location especially for the lower (primary) turbo would be nice for fitment of the turbo itself as well as the down pipe, but it can be made to work. We're still playing with some ideas to maximize room in the passenger foot well area at this point...
