Here's a little update before the weekend. The seats came in and the clutch has been modified to work with the jeep firewall. A few pics of the progress...

Ive said it before on here, I love the build, BUT way to play it safe on the paint...and wow line x, really? Only everyone is putting line x on there jk's including the interior...omg!!!

That being said about the paint, sorry to be negative but this jeep is outside the box and I would of love to have seen some paint that reflected that way of thinking.

Line X is ugly by the way, it has its place, but not as a paint:(

I disagree completely, they may be playing it safe but a flashy paint job never has looked good on a Jeep. Jeeps are supposed to be functional not flashy, and the line-x fenders bumpers ect is probably for the functionality of bedliner. Trust me when this thing rolls down the street you will notice it, it doesnt need a crazy paint job.

Was really hoping you guys would get this thing built before I deployed, but no such luck. Keep us posted. The work you are doing will definitely influence how I put mine together.

I have to agree with you on this one...We've done paint on our last two JK's and while it's a nice selling feature compared to a wrap like many companies do, there is really no value in a flashy paint job on a Jeep that's being built to be used for rock crawling and anything else we can throw at it. I'm sure the details of this build will be far more interesting than paint when it's all said and done.

We had a few more parts show up this week, and the work continues on getting the body ready for the motor and suspension. We are currently working on the new cage, and will be fabricating the rear section out of heavy gauge 2" tubing. The roll cage and roof rack tube diameter will both be the same outer diameter to give it a uniform look.

We received a bunch of stuff from BD Power this past week...ARP studs, Killer dowl pin, 60hp injectors, delivery valve kit, and a number 5 fuel plate and we will be working on the motor over the next few weeks. Turbo's should be on their way shortly as well...

Big thanks to Autometer for stepping up with all the gauges required to monitor everything going on with the Cummins.

We have also got the Atlas 2 speed transfer case...

A few pictures of the progress:

Dont get me wrong, im not all about super flashy either and if this jeep were simply a daily driver I would leave it white also. This is a Jeep to bring attention to a brand though, and a simple white paint job doesnt grab the attention of the average people who dont know what theyre looking at. I just think it needs some simple graphics to bring contrast to the white. This will bring more attention to the product on display and something visual that makes brand name stick in your head.

I misunderstood you as well in your prior post wrt flashy paint. With your new explanation I tend to agree. I think it does need something that makes brand name stick in your head. here is one example that caught my attention and I always go back to it and look at what parts were used because the brand stuck in my head like you say. I would find a way to integrate the MBRP logo on the side of it.
