My favorite place so far is Eagle Ridge in Coquitlam BC. It's at the top of plateau blvd in Coquitlam, 3402 plateau blvd, Coquitlam.
It's moderate to advanced rock crawling. Small to large boulders, cool rock formations. At the end of the trail on the ridge you see a beautiful view of the lower mainland. To complete the trail Up and down taking your time takes about 5 to 6 hours. You need a key to get past the green gate. You can get a key from the city of Coquitlam by calling the number posted on the gate, it's free! I'm sorry I don't have the number, doh!
The best part about this trail is it's easy and quick to get to for Vancouver area wheelers
Stock jk 2 door: can do the trail with difficulty
Stock 4 door: not a chance without assistance.
I did this trail for the first time in my 2 door 2" lift and 33" tires it was a challenge but not impossible.
Now my jeep has no problems except loosing traction on wet rocks. But Iv done a bit if work to it
I blew my original front axle on this trail then replaced it with an RCV front axle.
You will love the trail !!!

I thought some Alberta boys would have posted something for McLean Creek - K-Country. However, this was my old stomping grounds back in the 90's before I moved to BC. If I am wrong on directions please update directions it's been over at least 11 years since I have been back..Cheers!
SOUTHERN ALBERTA:
Name of the place: McLean Creek - K-Country
GPS/Map: +50° 54' 9.80", -114° 40' 11.82"
Additional info: M/T's, Winch & Recovery Gear (Highly Recommended), Hi-Jack Lift, Quick Disco's, lift & highly recommend you go with another Jeep or 4x4.
Duration: Depends on the trails
Terrain type: Mud & more Mud some Rock and Steeper inclines
Difficulty level: : Moderate - High Difficulty
Directions: West of Bragg Creek, AB (Highway 22 which turns into Highway 66). From what I remember you can get to a few trails by turning left off of Highway 66 onto Range road 55 (McLean Creek Trail).
MAPS: Below is a link to download and get a printable PDF of the map that has 2009 trails in McLean Creek.
