I understood it could be used on any vehicle ( within the JK family in this case) but only one at a time and only when the previous is set back to factory thereby releasing it for re-use. Can anyone shed any light on this? I'm a self confessed non- computer weiner having been dragged kicking and screaming into the computer era...but I can machine shit to a .0005" tolerance for you.
Yes I believe if you set it up with a Quick Tune (Tow, 87,89 & 91 tune) and then reset back to stock you will be fine to switch it to another Vehicle.

However, if you decide to do Advance Tuning you have to remember to set those advanced Tunes back to stock as well example TPMS off, Throttle Response, etc.

When I purchased mine "used" the person selling it to me forgot to reset the TPMS in the Advanced tune portion and when he set it back to stock he thought it could be transferred to my vehicle...However, it was locked due to the advanced tune.

The seller was awesome he just faxed the original receipt to superchips and paid $29.00 to unlock the Flashpaq for me. I was good to go!

Hope this helps....if you got questions just ask Scott@superchips on the forum he has helped me with my Knock/ping at the 87 tune as well as help set up my throttle jerkiness with the 6speed at lower speeds.

Hahaha.... It was awesome rolling topless last year.
Some of the newbies should try it ....fresh air, sunshine, forest Service Road dust, mud flying on the interior, a few bugs, it's the only way to roll off-roading in a Jeep! The clean-up was really, really easy ....

mike - 'Parnelli' would be coming from kamloops, and 'cowboypunk' from edmonton so they would be meeting up with you guys from the east.
