Some mods for Whipsaw
EVO carbon copied C-gussets thanks to Whistler Steve.
And a new front bumper. It only took me 1 day to make it including paint. I made a couple of mistakes but overall its not too bad. I didnt have my plasma cutter hooked up so I used the cutting torch instead lol. It is an evo 1/4 pounder clone. I think it will look okay once I make the d-ring mounts, add some d-rings, add an hawse fairlead (looking for a used one by the way), and add some cheap off-road lights.
Ive also ratched strapped a fire extinguisher to my cage. Its not going anywhere! It should be easy enough to remove in case of a fire. Yes you NEED one my buddy richies nice ass 1 ton truck burned down in eagle ridge a few weeks ago. If he had a fire extinguisher he would still have a truck.
I will put my AEV corner guards on on thursday evening, do the evap relocate probably friday evening. Ive also bought a brand new 30 foot, 3 inch wide tow strap from princess auto for about 65 bucks.
I also tried the hood shatter zip-tie mod (you put zip ties on your hood latches) and man does it work!!!! i used heavy duty zipties (like industrial electricians use).
Erik!!!!!!
