I have had no issues with my Duellers that I strictly run in the winter months. However, I did get extra siping done to them ($20/tire) to add more stopping & starting traction. With the Extra siping I find they are just as good as a true Winter tire that I have run on several of my other vehicles. However, you need at least 50% of the tread left before they sip tires.

having lived in Michigan for years and now living in Virginia Beach where if we get more than .25 inches of snow the whole place shuts down I SOOO miss the snow. I loved the days where we would get 12 - 24 inches of snow over night and nothing closes.

I am one of those freaks that loves bad weather though. I enjoy it when it snows, floods, tornado, hurricane.... I don't enjoy droughts or just plain old extreme heat. It's to boring.
