Zipper

Check out a boating store/shop. I have one around here that specializes in convertible soft tops, boat soft tops, car/boat interiors, etc. They have the zipper parts and can fix it up.

I fixed it by going to the junk yard and finding a TJ with a ripped up top and cutting the piece from the zipper, paid 2 dollars for it, pried it open just enough to get it off and squeezed it back onto my zipper. good as new.
I spent all week being told it needed a new zipper sewn in ( out of warranty, too many miles to MOAB )

Even a local cleaners may be able to fix it.
I had a seam split on my G.E.A.R. seat covers and they were able to sew through the seat cover material and the Jeep patches that I wanted put on over the seams with no problem. and they only charged me $20.00.
Take it in and have them look at it.
Most cleaners can repair heavy coat zippers. These are about the same.
