gears
I have the 2010 with auto and the #`s you are stating are correct. I run 33`s
Im waiting for the super chip to be ready this should solve some of the problem but the 3.8 is a dog anyways. my 09 X had the same issues and the super chip cured most of that. you could also go with the AEV power module. its about half the price of the superchip.

4.56 Yee Haa
I have a 2007 JK - it came with factory 3.21's & I run 33' MTZ's - it could barely pull the skin of boiled milk LoL
on 3.21's @70mph I was doing 1900ish on the Tacho
after regearing to 4.56's the tacho now reads 2850 @ 70mph!
2nd gear now on 4.56's is approx the same rpm as 1st was on 3.21's
slip it into 4low and 4.56's give 1st a real rock crawler feel.
I also got rid of the rear exhaust muffler and fitted a straight through pipe - Jeep sounds great now and I think I picked up a little more down low HP.
I totally recommend changing to 4.56's
the jeep has gone from sluggish to Yee Haa
If you ever come to OZ Ill give you a drive on real outback road! and you can experience the awesome difference.
cheers Hunty
