Default Would you?....

Just found an awesome 2007 Rubicon for $22500! Perfect condition with only 9,150 miles!

Its the darker red color and only has the soft top. No mods but tires are in great shape(probably never been off road)....

but..........................

It has an Auto Tranny..

Question:

If you had a choice between the aformentioned rubi with an auto or another rubi with a stick for $3000 more--with 11k on it and simular condition, would it be worth it to buy the stick???

I'm usually all for stick, but in this case, that's a much better deal for the auto.

You had me going until.....auto tranny. That's an absolute deal-breaker for me. Sorry.

I think I would prefer the auto, if I only had the foresight.

water in clutch; -5 to 10 mph in traffic (yes sometimes we're going backwards); etc.

Actually auto is actually more expensive from the dealer.... higher resale value.

Get it and meet me on the trail!!!!!!!

As mentioned above, consider what you will be doing with it cause manuals and deep water are not
the best of friends. If you need to shift you can suck water up into the clutch.

Ofcourse theres other factors like money you are willing to spend compared to
what type of transmission you like more

Alot of people would never switch to auto from manual, but if u
dont mind auto thats a great deal for a Rubi!

Great deal...

But the stick is just too much fun!!!

Plus no evidence of them spontaneously combusting, like the autos... but that's a moot point
