anyone have a problem of your jk not starting first thing in the morning. I went out fri morning and it would not start on me. Power windows would not work, locks would not work, the key fob would make the dash light come on but not the horn. I have it setup the get looked at among other things. Just wondering if anyone else had this issuse.

Hey Mud did you eventually get it started? If not disconnect the negative battery wire and wait a few minutes then reconnect. It sounds like it maybe the JK electrical gremlins. Check out this TSB too.

The worst I experienced was a long start (2-3 seconds about) on a very cold morning.

Happened to the wife 2x this week.

Towed to DLR on Tuesday. They replaced the remote start unit. Found a burned up connector and replaced that.

Got the jeep home thursday night.

Wouldn't start Friday morning. Towed back to the DLR Friday.

They spent all day trying to get the problem to reproduce and got nowhere.

Spoke the the SVC Mgr Sat. they will be on the horn to Jeep monday trying to figure out what to do.

This jeep has less than 1500 miles on it.

They looked at my jeep and said sorry we cant fix it its starting on its own. Even after I gave them the tsb report number. Call corp. and they said that they can't fix something that they can not reproduce. But they told me if it happens again to take back. I asked them what happens when it does not do it until after the warrity expires. they saiid to call them back and basically file a claim with them to get it covered since I have already reported the problem to begin with.
