Default Wiper Blades

Are the Bosch Evolution 16" wiper blades really that much better than the OEM ones? I would like to find something that did a better job on my 2011, but when I checked I was told they do not make a blade for my year and model. As the windshield has not changed, I am wondering where you are all purchasing these?

The silicone ones are really good (last longer and clear water off better), though being softer than the rubber ones they may not handle snow & ice as well. As for size, you can just get oversize ones & trim the inserts down to the correct length as I did, unless you're talking about replacing the entire assembly?

how's the lifespan on the 16's? Are they hitting any metal of the windshield frame?

16" wipers fit fine I just made the move to RainX (all weather type i forget the actual name)

they work much better than the stock wipers but still don't seem to work as well as I'd like

I replaced the stock blades on my 10 Rubi with the 16" Bosch Evolution after having it for 2 months. I think they work a lot better. Technically, they don't make a 16" blade for a JK but the 16" blades fit perfect. I just ordered the Bosch blades on-line.

I've installed the Rain-X Latitude. One of the best on the market.
