Default Windshield Wiper Issue

Any one experience windshield wipers that would turn on, on their own? If so what ended up being the problem?

99% of the time electrical gremlins are related to bad grounds. First thing always is to find the ground and clean/tighten it.

The ground for the windshield wipers? Any idea where one would find such a thing?

The TIPM can cause poltergeist types of things happening when one of the main grounds is loose or corroded.

Check the connections on the bottom of the tipm. If you unplug the tipm the windshield wipers will turn on by themselves so the first thing I would check is the connections there

Update. I loosened and re-set the battery terminals. And thought the gremlins presented themselves once, I have had no more reoccurrences to what was becoming a daily thing. Hope this problem is solved.
