Windshield Down?

I thought you couldn't do that with the JKs but I don't know that for sure.
I was told because the window isn't flat and has a bow in it so will not lay right.
But I would love to see pics if someone has done it!

I guess if you had a SAW or a M-16, or if you wanted to do some illegal deer hunting, then I can see the attraction to putting it down. Other than that, I think it looks funny. Maybe take the whole windshield off the Jeep and it might look cool, but you still need goggles to go anywhere.
Thanks to those that did it before I tried.

don't do it
I really wanted to put my windshield down until the guys at my dealership (Phil Long Jeep in Denver) recommended that I never do it. They said the procedure is fraught with potential for damaging your Jeep. Given the complicated nature of the procedure, I don't believe Jeep ever intended for us to actually lower the windshield.
