Default Who's got a hard rock package?

Hi who has a hard rock package? what do you think? was it worth money? can you mod the front bumper to have a front tube bar over where the winch would be?

And yes you can add a hoop!!! Here is a link to one website that seems to get grand reviews. https://www.maximus-3.com/10a-x-rubicon.html

Only worth it if you are not replacing the bumpers. Hard to get them otherwise, but may be cheaper to just add them thru mopar super center. The red accents are cheap to do yourself, the wheels are readily available and the difference in the coils is negligible.

Default replacing bumpers

By the time you add a front bumper say aev, arb, or many others you are out 1500-1700 same for a back bumper maybe $800. When i did this with my 08 the from end sagged so bad I had to get a lift 2000. I needed heavier springs. so just in bumper alone it s like 2300, throw in a hood, heavier front springs and leather seats and you are way over the 4k mark seem like a good deal especially since I won't be able to go out and mod it up after I buy it.

That's a little skewed. My lod bumper was 700 not 1500. It wouldn't sag rubi springs any more than it would GR springs. You can always do a spacer for $25. If you like those bumpers and wheels, it makes sense. I added the hood to my 13 jkur for $650 painted and installed. I can buy bumpers and wheels I like a lot more than those and add the good for less than $4k. Just personal preference and what you want.

I went to the dealer out of curiosity and we built one the way I would order it.
added 4.10s, AC with auto temp, HardTop and 430N
We then built a Rubicon with the same options.
The difference in price was less than $1000. By the time you buy a hood and the cheapest metal front and rear bumpers the Hard Rock costs less when you compare apples to apples. What everybody fails to consider in that extra $4500 is that the Hard Rock comes standard with leather, heated seats and the nicer hood.

Most opinions I had read always tout that the hood and bumpers are not worth $4500. I agree but when you build the Rubicon with the options that are standard equipment on the Hard Rock it's a better deal than you think.

I have a Rubicon but did buy a used Rubicon X bumper. Ended up selling it a few months later.
It's a great looking bumper but it is not very functional. The metal is thin so if it takes a hit it will dent. The part that sticks out the furthest are just plastic end caps that are only held in place with plastic pins. The bumper has hooks instead of d ring mounts. The bumper weighs 80ibs which is kind of heavy considering you would still need to a winch plate. If you wanted a hoop then the weight would up even more.

The biggest problem I saw with the bumper was the price to the accuracies to it. A winch plate and a hoop was about $600. For that price I could get a bumper that had everything already built in to the bumper.
