Who is using the Motorcraft FL-400S vs other brands?
I searched for a similar poll and did not find one.....so I hope I am not duplicating!
There have been so many posts on oil filters, specifically the value of the ADBV in the Motorcraft, that I was curious who is using which brand.
I have been using Mobil1 5w-20 and the associated Mobil1 filter since my first oil change, but plan to switch to the FL-400S at my next change since I have the 1 to 2 seconds of clatter at startup.
So, with that, vote away!

Ive always been one to trust whatever the OEM part is. With one exception, which was a built race motor (I used a K&N on it) Ive always used the OEM filters.
So, MOPAR.
So, MOPAR.

My Jeep has had three oil changes. The first two at the dealership with a Mopar filter. The last time I changed the oil, I used mobile1 and a Purolator Pure One Filter.
With ALL OF THEM, I've had that annoying clatter, for a second or two at start up unless its very warm outside. Then it doesn't do it. It also appears to do it more regularly if the Jeep is park at an angle (even a slight one) at start up. Its only had 5-20 oil in it.

I have been using a wix filter with no issues, but I have always parked on a level surface in the garage, I will be switching to the FL-400S on the next change when I go to synthetic thanks to hearing all of the good reviews of that filter. Now just what oil, Valvoline, Mobil 1 or Amsoil?? So many choices...

Thanks for the replies....I have been well pleased with the Mobil1 5W-20 synthetic oil, and buying the 5qt jug plus one quart at wally world makes it more economical.
