This no telling what cause it. U could take it to auto zone and have see if they pull a code off of it. I doubt they will but for piece of mind it might be worth it.

Could have been I hard code that made the check engine light come on. Then resolve itself. But with a hard code the check engine light will not go off by itself it has to be done manually. If it was a soft code that caused the check engine light to come on. It would have cleared the light to.
All the ones I checked say at the end of the description "Three good trips to turn off the MIL".
