What's wrong with the 17's?
Been trying to basically give my factory 17's with tires away because they are sitting in my apartment and no takers yet. Is there a reason no one likes the 17's or why I am unable to sell them? Would it be best to separate the the tires from the rims and throw the sales pitch of Rubi rims for sale? If I go that route what do I do with the tires? Another thing too is that I went to the dealer and they are having issues as well with them. The parts guy said they had to put a sign on the showroom floor "free 17" rims with the purchase of tires." Even at that they gave one of eight sets away. Times are hard I guess Dunno? Thanks

Send them to me, I'll take them.
List them on craigs list for your area. I sold mine with tires (all 5) for 350.00 in one day!
Just another hint. List the rims as 5x5 AND 5x127mm thats what sold mine so fast.

Have them on Craigslist here listed for $400.00 with the TPMS in all 5. Is that a good deal I mean I was thinking so but not sure? I will change the add too to list the size to see if I can get a hit. Also shipping, few have asked but they are too heavy to ship long distance?

if I was closer, I would take them off your hands..........but then again, I'm sporting 225's on the factory 16" steelies. Just about anything would be an upgrade
I think the biggest problem with the stock wheels is the backspacing. I think no one wants them because you have to add spacers to run decent tires on them. For the price of spacers, you can just get good quality steel wheels with the correct back spacing. It kind of eliminates the need for the stock wheels. I figure they will be a dime a dozen in a few years. I think Jeep kind dropped the ball with the factory wheels. If they had the right back spacing for larger tires, I think they would be a lot more desireble.

Rubi wheels & tires are always being looked for.
I have the 17" rubi wheels WITH the bfg MTs.
If you have the crappy toyota carolla-esque radials which are standard on the X yeah, nobody will buy those for that much.
Go to tire rack.com and buy the bfg MTs (255/75-17) for $99
They are very capable tires & they'll fit your 17" oem wheels!
