Driver front up around shock area. Too friggin' cold to investigate outside at the moment. Had my intake gasket replaced about a month and a half ago. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Is the crusty looking white stuff dry like a salt or is it water-ice?

As mentioned, brake fluid can be amber.

Could have lunched a shock on up travel? The color looks like that anti-foaming VI oil. Had a bilstein squirt it's guts in cold weather like this some 8 years ago up in N.H with temps @ - 16 ambient. Brake lines normally will not pop unless a high content of water is present. And being brake fluid is hydroscopic it does not take long for it to ingest water if system is open for some time for any reason on really humid days.

Have you been in deep water recently or had your front diff fluid serviced? Could be overflow from your front diff breather. The breather hose comes right up the side of the shock tower on the drivers side and ends with a one way valve.
