fixed again, third time. Does any one know of a permanent fix? They seem to always leak at the rubber hose crimp.

I don't have an auto but i would go to a hydraulic supply shop and get them to make you one, you might have to pay for it but the quality will be better and it will be the last one you buy.

I dont know about those extreme conditions, but could he put flexible pipe insulation on his lines. should be easy, it's split down the middle. he could zip tie it on.

Good Idea but
If you can get it to stay on even with tie's, these guy's drive thur ice chunks
flexible pipe insulation just won't last, extreme cold raises havoc with everything, I dought that even tycon tubing would work as a sheild.

They need to go to a hose mfg that deals in this type of extreme cold

It must be contageous. I was under mine today and a slight seeping on the crimped fitting.
