Ya that might be a summer project. Although no one here has a heated garage and I am probably not able to build one considering I am renting here.

Anything else I can do to prevent this from happening?

My trans cooler lines are leaking again! F'ing third time now! WTF! Same spot. How much are those lines anyway. Just want to prepare myself. Seems they need replacing every 7 months!

I was quoted today $80 from the dealer.

Do they use alot of salt on the roads there ?

if so think of a protective coat on the lines that wont hold the salt in
