Had mine done under recall. Took less than an hour at

Mine is an '08. I just set the appointment up at the dealership for tomorrow.

Thanks everyone!

I did this myself for about $50 of parts. I didn't know there was a recall for the 2010 model. But this hose crimp has been used in many jeeps and there are posts all over the Internet about how to fix them. Hopefully my fix will be permanent.

Hey , horrocks007 !
It is a little outdated post-wise but my researching led to google images of this thread and your (awesome) solution to this well known (tsb recall) issue on our JK rigs .
I have the ability and tools and Poly Performance / Summit has the parts but could I ask you to identify the actual AN fittings , sizes and hose length you used to correctly re-build yours ? I have an '11 with an aux cooler and tried (in vain) to use RTV sealant to block the seepage of my OEM auto tranny hose crimps and it made no difference. Now that I've got black RTV all over the stock crimps I'm sure the stealership won't warranty replace so am going to make it bigger and better as you've done but could really be helped out with knowing what sizes of connectors and fittings you've got going on in your image there .
I appreciate ANY details on it very much!
