What size lift
#21
OP - Welcome!
I'm running a 2.5" AEV Dualsport XT lift with my 285/70/17 "metric 33-inch" tires. I'm running hub-centric spacers with my stock wheels. The whole setup more than meets my needs and expectations, and the performance both on and off-road is quite good. I also don't regret my decision to run 33" tires instead of something larger. If you have questions, feel free to post up; that is, if the bickering in here hasn't already chased you away.

To me being built to take a beating would mean it has to also be tuff, but owell. He also said hed like to get a coil lift to get him through a rough trail, how is that not him saying he wants to offroad? He also actually said that even before you asked. Also whos not to say hell move or someone from one of these other areas will use this thread as a referance for there questions? You need to get your panties out of a bundle.
The only panties i have bundled up are....lol
you know what your not worth it.
Have a good day man. And relax we're all in the same team here.

Sounds to me like more assumptions. Rough trails could be anything depending on his description and experience level. It means something different to everyone that's why I asked. He also didn't say he wanted to go on trails anywhere else. Add yet another assumption to your list. Your making yourself look idiotic.lol

Wow lol.. Like I said I'm new to this I've had my jeep for about a week now.. I'm not quite sure what to expect when I say "rough trails" being that I haven't been wheeling yet.. I live in south fl which has swampy marsh areas so I'm assuming upgrades that would benefit towards that.. I think just bigger tires with mud terrain or all terrain tread will do for now

IMO Best way to tell what upgrades to get, is going out and feeing out your new jk and then based on what you saw in trail difficultly, jk performance, and jk conformability decide what you want to change. That way you don't want to spend tons of money for upgrades without knowing if you'll ever use it. Economically efficiency Oh and Go with friends it's much safer and lots funner!! Just a suggestion, do whatever makes you happy.
Good luck buddy. Enjoy your new jk! Welcome to the community.
