Royal Purple here. Been running it for ~10K miles at this point. I picked up fuel economy (~1 mpg) and low-end torque when I made the switch. Hills I used to have to downshift to 4th gear about half-way up to climb I can now leave it in 5th the entire time!

I'm heavy truck mechanic and good quality 75w90 on tap at both shops I work at.I change my diff oil very often(free)more than once I have had water in my diffs,If you dont change often at least check frequently if you wheel lots(keep are spare plug, put pan under diff quickly swap plugs,if jeep has sat for awhile water will sit at bottom, you will see soon as pull plug)

I just switched to Lucas Oil dif lube. Any opinions on them? I have been changing alot so i quit doing mobil 1 too expensive to change every 5,000 miles or anytime my axles have been submerged more than a couple of minutes.

Is there any seal that has to be replaced at the same time or is the total expense the price of the oil?
