What lift and why?
At some point I want to put a lift on my 15 JKU and get 35s. My driving will mainly be roads and city but I want decent stuff so I can go off roading every once in a while. I know I need at least 3.5 inches of lift for the 35s. I just can't decide on what lift and why basically. Should I just do a 3.5 inch suspension and coil lift. Or should I do a combo 2 inch lift and a 2 inch budget body lift? Any advice here would be appreciated. What to lift? Why? What brands and types are good and why?

You dont need 3 1/2 for 35's. A properly bumpstopped 2 1/2 will fit 35's. Not that 3 1/2 wont work but you have a lot more geometry issues that have to be ironed out over a 2 1/2 lift.

On my old 2012 JKU, I ran the Teraflex 2.5" coil lift with Bilstein 5100's and 35x12.5's. I basically did the same, mainly highway and occasionally weekend off-roading. You'll be fine with that setup. It rode great! On my sister '12 JKU, we went with the Teraflex leveling kit, which was $165-170 at Quadratec. She's still running 295x70r17 (33.55"x12") with no rubbing. She only does highway and the occasional urban off-road (jumping curbs, lol). Hope this helps!

I know you either have 3.73's or 4.10's, but what kind of mpgs you getting? I just picked up a '15 2dr and debating tires sizes and gears. I regeared my '12 JKU to 4.56's and got 17.5-18mpgs with 35's, also on a Teraflex 2.5" spring lift.

I have 4.10s and I get about 19 mpg. I do have the tire size programmed to make sure all is correct. Also, mine is a 6 speed and I don't run it hard all the time. I also keep this jeep in the mountains of western North Carolina so I am very happy with the gas mileage.

With flat fenders and proper bump stops and wheell bs you can run 35's. You do not need 3.5" of lift to run 35's. If you don't want to run flats stick to around 2" of lifts to minimize what you have to replace on the suspension.
