Default What in the hell just happened here

My wife goes out in the garage and opens the back door to the jeep and the horn goes off (constant), the windsheild wipers are on the lights are on + what ever else

I run out and pull the white computer fuse wait a couple of min and when I plug it back in the jeep will not start and the CD player is cycling thru CD's and never stops then as I walk around here goes the horn, lights, wipers, etc.

I pull the pos batt cable and wait a couple of min re attach and now everything is normal WTF.

She tells me this happened to her out on the road about a month ago and pulling the white computer fuse fixed it.

If this is the kind of BS that is going to happen I can,t have that. It will be BYE BYE Jeep.

Everything on the Jeep is computer controlled, and sometimes the computer malfunctions and goes crazy and just needs to be rebooted (similar to a computer at home, etc...) and by pulling the positive cable you are doing this. If it continues to happen you might want to swing by the dealership if you are still under warranty and have them reflash the computer to make sure you are running the most up to date software and this should also help fix the issue.

I did not try to start it while everything was going off.

With 45K on her she is out of warranty but a computer flash would not hurt.

Thanks.

As stated check your codes, If no codes were thrown, probably just a coputer hiccup. Yesterday mine went screwy.

Maybe the dealer will reflash the computer for you, see if that helps.
