What Gear Oil
I have an 07 sahara with factory 4.10s and 35's. Im not sure what diff oil i need. The jeep sealership advised me to go with 75w 140 front and back and sold me a limmited slip additive. I went to the parts store to buy the oil and all the 75w 140 said it had the additive for Limmited slip in it. So What do i really need to be getting?? Also is all 75w 140 synthetic?

The additive for limited slip on Chrysler/Jeep is specific and not included in the oils at other stores - pay the small price, or pay the large price when they don't honor your warranty (they could do an oil analysis if they wanted).
Edit - I should check the owner manual this info comes from previous jeeps I've owned.

75W-140 recommended for rear axle only. It is the one that needs it for towing.
From the Owner's Manual:
Axle Differential (Front) Mopar Gear & Axle Lubricant (SAE 80W-90) (API GL-5) or equivalent.
Axle Differential (Rear) 198 RBI (Model 35) and 226 RBI (Model 44) - Mopar Gear & Axle Lubricant
(SAE 80W-90) (API GL-5) or equivalent. For trailer towing, use Mopar
Synthetic Gear & Axle Lubricant (SAE 75W-140) or equivalent. Models
equipped with Trac-Lok require an additive.
Nothing here says it has to be MOPAR oil or additive.
Look at a bottle of Mobil 1 synthetic 75W-140. I believe it states it has the limited slip additive.

The Mobil 1 75W-140 says it has LS friction modifiers. It also says you can add the OEM stuff if you want to.
But, like I quoted, the manual doesn't even say a MOPAR additive; it just says "an additive". Wouldn't hurt to add whatever stuff the dealer has.
