Default What backspacing?

What wheel backspacing do I need to fit 33 x 12.5's or 33 13.5's on a stock 2dr? I am looking for a 16x8 or 16x10 wheel.

I think everyone is saying something like 3.5" backspacing.

I would think you could get away with 4.5" BS. Or if you want to run stock rims put some 1.5" Spidertrax wheel spacers on and you should be good.

If you are getting tires with a rim size of 16" do NOT get a wheel with 3.5" backspacing unless you want your tires sticking a couple inches out from the fender flares. Do 4.5" backspacing if you are going to do 12.5" or 13.5" wide tires.

I love the look of the tires sticking out from under the fenders. That is really what I am wanting. I really want IROKS but they dont make a 33" tire for a 16" rim ugh!

I dont have 16" wheels but do have 33x12.50/17 stock wheels, and 1.5" Spidertrax wheel spacers. I like the look of the tires sticking out a little also.

Most lift mfg's recommend a 4.50 or less BS for 35/12.50 tires. For a 13.50 width on a 33, 4.50 should be ok. But personally, I'd go down around 4 BS just to be safe. (and because I like em sticking out a bit...)
