Temperature sensor? That's where mine is.

The "end cap" is the actual temp sensor.

It will probably be more accurate running it like that, though.

Yes, that is true.
However, the computer is programmed to make it unlikely the sensor will read heat from the engine bay.

I am so glad that it swill run better with my Ghetto Mod! Bur seriously folks... I put it back where it belongs. What type of sensor is it? Water, Radiator. What? I plan on adding some a pillor gausges.

It's an ambient air temp sensor. The readout is in the speedometer.

The engine also makes adjustments in the Fuel/Air mixture based on the temp reading.

I haven't seen any evidence of this.
I think it relies more on water and intake air temps.
