Default Waxing the freedom top

I was just cleaning up my Sahara last night and was thinking of waxing my hardtop to prevent water pooling up. Has anyone tried it?

I polished mine with Zaino. Worked fine, but the wax is a bit harder to get off than the sheet metal. Takes some elbow grease the first time, but gets easier with each additional coat.

I use the quick detailer spray stuff. Easy to wipe off.

agree with the Turtle Wax Blue Ice liquid. Although I don't have the hardtop, I've used it enough on the black trim and AEV bumper of the wifes JK to know it should work on the hardtop. (I do wipe the stuff off though using a microfibre cloth.)

I use Turtle Wax Ice liquid and some times Aerospace 303. Both work great. Paste wax is too hard to get off and leaves residue on anything that should stay black.

Will the Turtle Wax liquid leave it pretty dry?

I live on a gravel road and my vehicle get fairly dusty, but gets really dusty if you put anything on it like tire shine on the tires or anything like that. It becomes a dust magnet and looks worse than before you did it. I used to have an Avalanche and if I remember correctly I used the Turtle Wax liquid on the body cladding and the dust really stuck to it, but this is a different material from that.

But if this Turtle wax dries good enough then it wont be a problem, anyone with dusty experience?
