Wavey metal on doors
When i purchased my new Jeep Sahara 2dr at the dealer i did not notice the metal just behind the lower hinge on the doors is wavey, not bent or dented, just a slight depression. Not very noticable to most, but it bugs me. It is like, if you look at a reflection in the door, you see the distortion at the lower hinge part of the door. I guess i am picky, yes i am. Just thought some of you might have this problem or have noticed it, and might know how to fix it simply. Thanks for looking....

Oh God, not this again.
No worries. It's common and you're the only person who will ever notice it. Then again, I wheel pretty hard and I'm proud of every scratch.
No fix available.

I've noticed this, too on mine. Not sure what color yours is but mine is Red Rock and I think the darker colors exacerbate this effect. My theory is that most vehicles have creases or bends designed in the body panels to add design, shape, and rigidity to the piece where the Wrangler is not much more than a flat panel of sheet metal. So when you clamp door hinges on it, it's bound to warp a little. I put a straight edge up to mine and it looks way more severe than it actually is. Mine was only about a 32nd of an inch deformed which really isn't all that bad for what it is. I'm pretty picky about my vehicles as well, but I've pretty much chalked it up to the "Jeep thing" syndrome. Not sure if there's really any remedy for it. That's just my take on it.

You mean this?
That little depression comes standard on most JKs. No extra cost. If you search hard enough, you'll find a few threads around here about it. Sometimes it will disappear for awhile when you remove and re-install the doors.

I had the same problem on all four doors. I faught for three months to get it fixed with the dealership. They had a engineer out to look at it and they responded that they had come up wit a fix for it. It was at the body shop for 3 weeks and when I receved it back they were gone. They said that they did not do any body work to it, they would not give me any details what they had done to correct it ,at that point I was done asking questions and just wanted my Jeep back. I have asked on several occasions since and I never can get a straight answer. Hound you dealership to fix it!!! It is not a Jeep thing.
