Water gurgling noise from dash. Sounds like JKU is about to have explosive diarrhea!

The other thing you can look at that may help with bleeding the air is (link) that tool. It sits in place of your cap and holds an extra reserve of fluid to replenish as the system heats and cools. I bought one on Amazon for $15, the reviews on it seem to be the way to go. We'll find out when I do my refresh and open all of the systems up.

Well shoot. Maybe I should return it before I open it then. I've never had issues, it just looked to simplify the process.

Well to be fair here, the point isn't that the little "tool" is getting all the air out, it's so that the coolant has room to expand. From that perspective I think the only way it could "fail" is if it leaked all over the place. At the end of the day it's still on us to force the air out of the system, and that is just giving a little extra room to work with. With that in mind, was the little kit just a total POS?

it’s a good tool to have for sure I would keep it. But the air in the system I guess will eventually work itself out

no it worked like it was supposed too. The air in the lines are just like hiding somewhere I can’t get to. I was told it will just eventually come out. And to keep topping off my system if it gets low and look for leaks under the jeep.

I used a friend's steep drive way to get the air out. The front of the jeep needs to be uphill so the air comes to the radiator. Then you hook up the burping tool as mentioned above.
