Water gurgling noise from dash. Sounds like JKU is about to have explosive diarrhea!

I remember reading about that but you would think that issue would have long been taken care of on the assembly line by now. But then again, nothing surprises me...

I thought I had water gurgling I'm my dash but on further listening it was actually water in my passenger side freedom top piece from rain. Everytime I stopped or turned the water sloshed. If u have a soft top it'a def not that tho.

Hopefully it's just an improperly purged cooling system. Sometimes head gasket failures cause the same thing.

If there is a problem with the head at 58 miles on an almost 50k Jeep... I don't even want to think about it....
I'm was pretty sure it was air but after I purged it and it is still there I am thinking otherwise and taking in everyones suggestions.
I hate the thoughts of having to take my Jeep in and let them start tearing shit up but it's looking like I may have to.

Check if the air filter housing or tube is on correct and snug. Engine may be sucking to much air causing it to hiccup which sounds like a gargle or water drop sound.
I have seen this problem before.

Thumbs up

Gonn add to the weirdness:

Recently switchedto 5W-20 synthetic to 5W-30 Synthetic , both the same Mobil 1 Advanced Synthetic Oil and Napa Gold Oil Filter. Sine the change over, the Girgling noise has gone away. Also the draining noise from the oil into the oil pan has gone away. sounds crazy but, for the past 2 months that noise is now gone.

I have the same issue.

Got the brand new jeep several weeks ago. Water rushing sound started earlier this week. Mine goes away as the engine warms up.

Took it to the dealer, they were able to replicate it. They think the heater core is defective and they are changing it now.

Looks like a big job, the dash has to come off.

Damn
