Default water bead running down when door open

Hi

Just picked up my new 08 and noticed how when its raining etc and the car is parked and you open either front doors the water drips off the water channel on the top and onto the side sill of the open door and onto the carpet. I notced that it is a design flaw as once the door is open the channel on the roof does not pass the door its about a inch or two to short and the water then falls.

Im assuming everyone has this problem

Most of the places I park are on a slight slope. I just park with the passenger side downhill.

Toad, heard it's this wet stuff that actually falls out of the sky onto people that don't live here in Cali.

I live in BC so I get this 364 days a year. I pisses me off to no ends and I am trying to invent something subtle to solve it and make my millions on ebay...

As soon as you invent it, you are a millionaire.

It has rained so much in Houston this year my toes are now webbed.

Its not as bad with the soft top as it is with the Hard Top (at least from what I remember).

I have found out, though, that when you do not have a top on, you do not get that streaming effect from opening the door.

(Not every alternative is a good one.....)

My friend, you need to experience a year in Vancouver BC. It rains so much here that we run for cover when that glowing orb in the sky shows up...
