Default Warranty question about soft top stabilizer straps

Hi all,

Just got my soft top out last week after having it stored for 6 months.

Install went fine, but while I was finishing, I noticed the passenger side stabilizer strap that goes from mid bow to rear bow was completely dislodged from the rivets.

I tried to get them back into place, but no luck.

So I examined the drivers side strap which was still in place and merely touched it and the first of 3 holes popped off its rivet, another gentle touch dislodged the rest of them.

It's 2-door 2008 that I've had for 24 months. I'm leasing and will be 'trading' in for another Jeep (knock on wood) in less than a year.

Wondering if I should take it in to a Chrysler dealer(as we lost our local Jeep dealer during the bailouts) and have them take a look at it?

or should I just let it slide for the summer?

Any help is much appreciated,

Thanks
