The flashcal is fancier, you have to plug it into the computer to get an internet update, (and jump through some hoops if you want to disable the tpms) before plugging it into the JK. The good thing about it is that it has a screen and menu and is more user friendly, and it also has a paid upgrade to turn it into a flashpaq tuner (if performance tunes interest you).

The Flashcal/Flashpaq no longer let you adjust the psi threshold in the tires. (if you want to run your new bigger tires at less than the factory mandated psi, the dash light will be on). But you can still shut the system off. The procal allows you to adjust the pressure and also turn it off.

I have had two of each, and I like the simplicity of the procal better. (No problems with update issues or the crappy superchips support techs...)
After my research on both devices last night, I think I agree. The Procal seems like much better option. If the deal for these wheels and tires goes through, Ill place my order tonight.

I figured Id update... I got the 17s with the 285/70/17s and they are installed. They do occasionally rub right at full lock, adjusting the stops or getting some spacers should take care of that though. Heres a pic or two...

Looks awesome! You can pu some used spacers for cheap. Give a more aggressive look. That is what I chose anyway. I'm gonna go bigger as well.
