Yep that track bar needs to be checked often, and even more so after wheeling. I will be checking mine before and after each wheeling trip just to be certain.

Just did set it with the torque wrench - 125lbs sounded like a lot, but it's done. Hell, I have sports cars whose crankshaft bolts take less than that

Anyway, that little bolt check will certainly be added to my routine when wheeling from now on. I guess we live and learn these things.

I had the same problem with my old cherokee as well. One thing I noticed on the JK thank goodness is that the trackbar bracket on the frame end is welded instead of bolted so that can help eliminate the annoying "POP".

The frist time I heard a clunk or tink type of sound it was because my ujoint cap came off the axle.

A simpler solution... turn up the radio.
