That was my first mod (day 2). No hair dryer, just patience & a plastic knife.

Don't forget to take off the silly warning sticker on the sun visor too.

I had the dealer take them off before taking delivery. Also took of the sun visior sticker. Also get the mirror remounts, very useful with no doors.

and while we are on the subject i had mine removed by the dealer, but a friend of mine still has it on since he got the car over a year ago can it still be removed by the hair dryer method?

yeah its easy...just use a hair dryer and heat the sticker up till it comes of nice and easy It really works
