Default Ughhhhhhhh Please HELP! My 2009 JK won't let go of its shifter knob!!

I can't get it to come off. I have gotten the lid and indicator off and the bottom is broke loose but the guts will not come off!!!! Any Ideas?

Took mine off using a heat gun. Let it sit on the bottom of the stock shift knob for like 5 mins then wrap a towel around the knob and twist it off. It is on there with a good amount of glue

I don't have a heat gun I will try a hair dryer I guess.... Lol if I don't gt this off I am screwed I had beat the tar out of it trying to get it off....

Yayyyyyyyyy I finally got it! Thank you so much, I used my craft heat gun and it worked... I almost forgot I had it! Thank you Mr Mad!!!

you remove it to replace it or are you doing something ( pink ) to the console ?

Hi Carolina, I replaced it with rhinestone bling knob. I couldn't find pink but I am going to paint my heat vent rings pink... Lol I don't want to disappoint ....

thats awesome ! you and my wife would be a pair she is a pink freak ! she bought a nissan cube ( tried to talk her into a jku ) but she wants pink racing stripes , and pink zebra stripe seatcovers . back in the early 90s when minitrucks and neon colors were popular she talked me into doing pink highlights on dash vents and console and alot of underhood stuff too . im a fan !

Gurl, you had best show us a picture of that bling shift knob. From your description, I have something from Dollywood in my mind.
