Default Transmission question

I have a relatively new JKU (3500 mi). Haven't had any problems. However, I've noticed a high pitched, metallic whine when coasting in gear (manual transmission). Jeep runs well. Just curious if this is normal. Anyone else notice this?

Does it stop when you push in the clutch? If so it might be a defect throwout baring. Mine was just replaced.

Yes ... definitely stops when I push the clutch ... I assume getting it replaced is a lot of work? More than one day?

That's usually throwout bearing.

I dropped mine off Friday, the parts came is Saturday. They fixed in on Monday and I picked it Tuesday morning. I would schedule 3 days to be safe.
