Default Trans mission doesn't shift after 40

Hello Guys, first time poster here.

I have an 09 JK Sahara Unlimited auto. I just recently broke 100k miles on it. Only cosmetic mods.

The other day I was driving on the highway and noticed as I was going down hill, the RPM was hovered around 3000. I found that at 40 mph, the transmission doesn't shift up. Additionally, I noticed when I go into reverse and then put it into drive, there seems to be a delay in the computer recognizing the shift.

Fluid is fine. Other than a TIPM sensor that I've just been a bit slow to replace, no other major issues with the rig.

Have you guys experienced this before? My pops thinks it may be the solenoid. How would you recommend I begin diagnosing the issue? Thanks a bunch!

TIPM Sensor? Do you mean TPMS sensor?
You said the fluid is fine. Did you check it with the transmission warmed up, in neutral or park, and the engine idling?
