It reads the trans temp right from the computer, so the sensor is probaby in the pan.

Impatient? No. But I have found in the past, once a thread makes it past a point, the prior posts usually don't get re-read. So, I brought the question up again because it may make a difference in someone's thinking if they know where your gauge sensor is.
As it turns out, you can't go wrong with the same sensor the computer is using.
It is in the pan, by the way.
