Default Trans Cooler - Here we go again! Quick part question!

Hi Everyone,

Jeep has finally taken my complaints and called me back about my overheating issue. After being referred to two different case managers, I was contacted by 'Marv', a 'mechanical engineer for the Jeep Driveline Division'. After discussing with him that I overheat while in 4lo WITHOUT using the Jeep, without hammering on the pedal, I was told that they couldn't do anything to help me because of the recent recall they had. (J24? the trans cooler light/alarm) Meaning, he would like to help, but because of the recall, the federal will prevent them from installing an auxillary trans-cooler because the Jeep would become unsafe. And they don't want a future lawsuit. I suggested that an aftermarket trans-cooler would indeed keep the transmission from overheating and keep me safe anyways. He said that Jeep, no, Chrysler would not install an aftermarket trans-cooler because they cannot verify the manufacturer's information on performance. So I suggested that he install the upgraded Mopar trans-cooler that is available to the European and Middle-Eastern markets. He says that he can't find any cooler available.
So my question is this: does anyone know what market and/or a part number for the 'aftermarket' MOPAR trans-cooler they are having installed overseas? I would like that info to give to 'Marv' to see what his response is.

Any help is appreciated, and I will keep you up to date.

Thanks all.

Thanks for that! Where did you find it? Is this online somewhere where I can copy the link and email it to him? He should be able to look that cooler up with that info don't you think?
