Sweet! Thanks, I'm gonna make that a project for after the holiday
Just to be clear tho.... After I flip switch to shut everything off those lights will turn on on my dash? And when I flip switch back this will not turn it back on, but I have to cycle to ignition and turn completely off then back on and it will be back to normal?

right on, yeah I went ahead and went with a kill switch because I had no reason other than disabling the ESP etc to have dealer re-flash. Sure is nice not having the brakes apply on you on every sharp corner etc.

I don't understand why he would post that, since it's not the correct procedure.
My'08 went in for the "Hot Oil" warning flash, at which time they added the ESC disable feature, (Steering Wheel Dance).
They gave me an addendum for the owner's manual with the instructions.
If yours has not had the reflash, you may not be able to disable ESC permanently.
The following procedure will disable (or re-enable) ESC
functionality in the vehicle:
1. Shift the transfer case into the 4H range position.
2. Turn the steering wheel until it is centered and the
wheels are pointed straight ahead.
3. Cycle the ignition key OFF to ON.
4. Wait approximately five seconds for the system bulb
check.
5. Turn and hold the steering wheel one-half turn to the
right (clockwise).
6. Press and hold the ESC OFF button for seven seconds.
7. Turn the steering wheel back to center, and turn and
hold an additional one-half turn to the left (counterclockwise).
8. Press and hold the ESC OFF button for seven seconds.
9. Turn the steering wheel back to center.
10. Press and hold the ESC OFF button for seven seconds.
11. Cycle the ignition key to OFF.
After performing the ESC disable procedure correctly,
“ESC OFF” will be displayed in the odometer for approximately
12 seconds each time the ignition is moved
to ON. Repeating the ESC disable procedure will reenable
normal ESC operation.

This is the reason I USUALLY read my owners manual all the way through. Now either I am getting old and my memory is gone or I didn't read my manual this time..........LOL. This is all news to me. Thanks for the info.

With the Diablosport Trinity (or InTune) you can completely disable it (not partially).
It will stay disabled no matter what .... until you turn off the engine . Next time you turn the ignition back on ...Traction control will be on again.

I put the switch in, because on the 2012's & up the steering wheel dance doesn't work. The Federal law changed, and made it completely illegal for the car companies to inable you to turn the nanny systems off. The switch does work well, and flicking a switch is easier than the steering wheel dance.

On phone, so can't see your Jeep profile. But, on my 2007 it didn't work until after the brake system (not hot oil warning) light recall software fix. That is when I received the update to the owners manual pages. Maybe you need the recall.
